Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil is extracted by cold-pressing hemp seeds. Our hemp seed oil is organic and unrefined. It’s a clear green oil with a slightly nutty flavor.

Hempseed oil is made from the hemp seed itself and doesn’t contain any THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the psychoactive component of cannabis. THC is a substance only found in the blossoms and leaves of the cannabis plant, however not in the seeds.

It’s known that hemp seed oil has many benefits for health and well-being. This includes its desirable effects on skin health and appearance, amongst others thanks to the high amounts of antioxidants (Vitamin B) and moisturizing qualities.

Moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties

Hemp seed oil contains omega-6 fatty acids, which have strong anti-inflammatory properties. At the same time, it encourages skin growth and new cell generation – making it the ideal partner of a fresh skin appearance!

To conclude, hemp seed oil can help you to calm inflammation and irritation on the skin, for example acne or even more severe conditions like psoriasis.

A real bonus for everyone is that hemp seed oil nourishes, moisturizes and soothes the skin.

Moderates oil production

Hemp seed oil is perfect for most skin types as it can moisturize without clogging your pores. Its comedogenic rating is zero, meaning there is no chance that hemp seed oil causes you to break out! Therefore it is safe to use daily, also with acne-prone skin. The oil can even help to balance out oily skin and hydrate it, keeping your face silky and smooth.

Dryness can also cause your skin to overproduce oil, which in turn, can result in acne. Hemp oil can prevent dry skin without clogging pores, reducing acne that’s caused by excess oil production.

Reduces symptoms of many skin conditions

Hemp seed oil has a balanced ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids (3:1). This is why the oil should be included when treating various skin conditions. It can, for example, reduce the symptoms of acne, rosacea, psoriasis, and eczema. So use hemp seed oil to treat dry patches, redness and blotchy skin.

Skin preserving properties

Not only does hemp seed oil moisturize, soothe and treat the skin. It can also help to attenuate the development of signs of skin aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles.

Hempseed oil is safe for most people to use and usually doesn’t contain any THC or psychoactive properties.

Applying the oil topically might cause mild irritation in rare cases. This can happen with any  ingredient used in any kind of cosmetics. We recommend you to apply a small quantity of the product to the patch of skin on your arm first, just to be sure.

Yes. All our products comply with the law, both regarding the cannabis aspect and cosmetics regulations.
